# Interior Door Remodels

### Scope of Work

Door remodels generally involve remodeling the existing door opening down to the framework. From there, the following will occur:

- The door jamb will be installed to be plumb and level.
- Standard door casing will be installed.
- The door handle hardware you selected will be installed and will operate properly.
- Workmanship will be top quality, the work site will be straightened up and cleaned daily.
- You will receive excellent customer service during the process. Tate aims to bring your vision to life in a pleasant, professional way.

### Installation Pricing

A lot of work goes into installation. The pricing below includes the cost of the field labor to install the interior door, the project management labor to ensure the project runs smoothly, an appropriate slice of the business overhead costs, and a reasonable business profit.

- **$650** per door installed for the first 3 doors
- **$550** per door for 4+ doors
- Extra charge for built-up door casing, staining/topcoating, and historical homes

### Material Pricing

The cost varies depending upon the design, wood species, and industry supply. On average, previous projects have had the following pricing.

- Entry level: **$200 per door**
- High quality: **$1,000 per door**
