# Interior Millwork Remodels

#### Scope of Work

Balustrade remodels generally involve removing the existing millwork system down to the flooring or subfloor. From there, the following will occur. 

- Any caulking or paint lines will be removed with a scraper.
- The millwork will be installed and nail holes will be filled.
- Workmanship will be top quality, and the work site will be straightened up and cleaned daily.
- You will receive excellent customer service during the process. Tate aims to bring your vision to life in a pleasant, professional way.

### Installation Pricing

A lot of work goes into installation. The pricing below includes the cost of the field labor to install the millwork, the project management labor to ensure the project runs smoothly, an appropriate slice of the business overhead costs, and a reasonable business profit.

- **$13** per foot of base
- **$26** per foot of crown
- **$150** per door casing (both sides)
- **$150** per window casing (interior only)
- **$120** for miscellaneous work
- Extra charge for built-up door millwork, staining/topcoating, historic homes, large openings

### Material Pricing

The cost of wood varies depending upon the design, wood species, and industry supply. On average, previous projects have had the following pricing.

- **$1.50 - $3.50** per foot of baseboard
- **$2.50 - $5.50** per foot of crown
- **$45 -75** per side of door casing
